Plan your site visit

For factories and workshops in Wetherill Park, discuss machinery connections, three phase equipment, leads, access restrictions and shutdown windows. Appliance testing and electrical installation assessment are different services.

Testing, records and failed equipment

Discuss the inspection scope, asset list, recorded results and failed equipment reporting you need. Suspected unsafe equipment should be removed from use and assessed under your workplace procedures.

Requirements that fit your workplace

Inspection and testing intervals depend on equipment use, conditions and applicable requirements. AS/NZS 3760:2022 addresses in-service electrical equipment; construction sites have additional requirements under AS/NZS 3012:2019. Confirm the applicable edition and amendments for the work.

RCD protection does not remove appliance testing duties. Test instruments must be suitable for the task, measurement category and voltage rating.

See our test and tag guidance, RCD testing service and SafeWork NSW guidance.
